About our Principal
Bro.J.Jesuraj, M.A., M.Ed., Principal and Correspondent of Santhome Higher Secondary School is the son of Mr.P.Jagannathan and Mrs.Gnanasoundara Mary. He was born in Madurai and is the eldest of the 5 children. Bro.Jesuraj belongs to the Montfort Brothers Congregation. The Montfort brothers are serving around 150 odd schools across the country since 1903.
Bro.Jesuraj has been the Principal and Correspondent of Santhome Higher Secondary School since June 2002 and also has the additional responsibility of managing Montfort Academy. He has served in many reputed Montfortian institutions as St.Joseph's Higher Secondary School, Chengelpet, Campion Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School, Trichy, R.C.Susai High School, Kalugumalai and St.Peter's Higher Secondary School, Royapuram.He has dedicated himself to the cause of education and has received appreciation for his exemplary work in the above mentioned schools. This year a Tamil medium student from Santhome secured the State 2nd Rank in the 10th Standard examinations.

Our Hon'ble Principal & Correspondent, Santhome Hr.Sec.School & Montfort Academy Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Bro.J.Jesuraj has been awarded the most privileged award, " Dr.Radhakrishnan State Award" for the Best Teacher for the year 2005-06.
The State award was presented by Hon'ble Thiru.K. Anbazhagan, Minister for Finance,Govt. of Tamil Nadu on 5th Sept 2006 (Teacher's Day) at Kalaivanar Arangam. The function was presided by Hon'ble Thiru. Thangam Thennarasu, Minister for School Education and other top Education Department Officials.
